Snow is here! All the hard work from everyone involved with the MLSTA is paying off! Our entire system is open - with the exception of a small section of trail closure. Our skandic, ATV, and small drag has been worked hard and naturally, repairs and maintenance are a constant. It all costs money and we appreciate your donation. Our Gofundme is still active. Here we go again folks. MORE off trail riding that is significantly risking a closure to a critical part of our trail network. This time it’s where the trail runs behind the Bala storage yard. I know it’s not the people likely reading this post that ride off trail but we can all help get the message out that it is NEVER ok to ride off trail.

So you have a $15k snowmobile. You are heading north for the weekend and you don't have your permit, but you have "ordered it and it is on your phone". Please do us a favor and print it off, attach it to your windshield and we are all good. Grooming and brushing these trails is not cheap.

I couldn’t agree more. And we’ve got a few bad apples in our area that are risking our entire network. And they just don’t give a crap. Oh and neither do their parents apparently.....

Trails took a beating but it was great to see everyone out there enjoying our sport and supporting local business. We’ve gone back to yellow as we need more snow however so please do the snow dance!
