On May 20, Salma Zahid, Liberal MP and chair of the Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group, shared a letter calling on Canada to condemn Israel's abuses of the Palestinian people, and to place the same kind of sanctions on Israel that Canada has used against Russian and Chinese officials. The letter was signed by 24 MPs and 2 Senators from 5 political parties (listed below). This is a HUGE deal, showing an unprecedented multi-party support for Palestinian human rights! We urge these politicians to continue to challenge the Canadian government to implement these measures as soon as possible.
