This past weekend, the latest cohort of Muslim Youth Fellows were treated to engaging and educational sessions on communications, urban planning, risk management, and public engagement. Thank you Sidewalk Toronto and staff Mary-Margaret McMahon, Habon Ali, Nasra Bashir, and Amina Mohamed. In the afternoon, Fellows were also joined by Brendan Agnew-Iler, who facilitated an interactive workshop on how to practically advocate for progressive change, and Laura Nguyen, who spoke on empathy, self-growth, and building community through campaigns and activism. Thank you both for your wonderful sessions. Keep an eye out for details on the upcoming MYF Launch, as we introduce the new Fellows to the world! #Communications #PoliticalOrganizing #Training
