We are looking to create fun and engaging images to be used for marketing on their website and social media. Is your cat comfortable in new situations? It's been a very long time since I've done a "the reality vs the vision" photos. I felt this showed how even in this in between brown starting to green season we can still capture beautiful images. I love the neutral color tones at this time of year...dead old flowers and all!

Juno update: She is doing well since her surgery. They removed part of her upper palate and a few teeth and are confident they were able to successfully remove the tumor. Juno is not loving the cone life, she is nervous to walk around as she hits everything. We are hopefully for a full recovery and more years with our girl

Cute and Fluffy Ruby She is quite the character and would do anything for a treat! Her mom and dad shared:... "Ruby will always try to get whatever we are eating when we leave the room and are out of sight. We have to keep the chairs away from the table now or up she goes, hopping down when we return as if nothing has happened. She had one pretty good pizza night; she didn't even ask for treats the rest of the evening."

Oh Miss Lola, she is such a character. We had planned for a studio session but found out it wasn't her thing (this sometimes happens). So we popped into the backyard of the studio and she was much more comfortable! This is what her momma had to say about her sweet and spunky Lola: "Lola is everything i was looking for in a small dog. She is the ultimate baby, needy, cuddly, attention seeking but at the same time she is a tough little cookie who can go on hikes with me for hours. She always knows what i need from her and always pulls out the side of her personality that makes her momma happy."

Juno has her surgery today and my stomach is in knots. It has been an emotional week. She enjoyed a walk with her best friend, lots of rolls in the grass and plenty of treats. I tried not to focus too much on it but it hit me last night and again this morning. I’m hoping for a positive outcome and a quick recovery for her but won’t feel settled until we get an update after her CT and when we see her tomorrow. As I stood in the parking lot sobbing and asking last minute ques...tions, we inconvenienced a woman that was parking. She very rudely told us we were in her way despite there being multiple other parking stalls. If I could have one request, it would be please be kind to one another. You do not know what a person might be going through in that moment. When the tears start flowing I feel the weight of everything over this past year. I think of all the clients I’ve met and worked with who have walked this same path. My heart is with you. Thank you all for your messages and well wishes. We appreciate it so much. Archie ~ A big, calm, playful handsome boy with the most amazing fluffy coat! I was giddy with delight when I met him. Archie's mom says, "Archie is just a huge goofball in personality and looks! He has a crazy coat of long shaggy white hair that sticks up everywhere. He has this one pierce of hair on the top of his head that sticks up like an alfalfa. You can also style his hair to stand straight up on the top of his head and will stay there. His personality is just as goofy..., he is a 100 lbs dog that likes to roll around on his back with stick in his mouth, jump around and play like a crazy boy who definitely does not realize how big he is to be doing all of these things. He is very much a one of a kind dog". I'd say that describes him perfectly!

We found out this week that our sweet June Baboon (Juno) has oral cancer. I found a lump above her canine tooth back in March that we had looked at and were then referred to the dental specialist. We've spend the past few days making decisions and decided to go ahead with surgery next week. She turns 11 this year but still acts very much like a puppy. I'm upset as I had not at all anticipated this to be the case, but that's how things go sometimes. I wanted to give a little update on my end here as I am a bit delayed in responding to everyone who I spoke with this past week. This whole thing threw me off my planned schedule. Thank you to those I have had the pleasure of chatting with. I love hearing all about your sweet pups. You will be receiving an email from me very soon.
