As we adjust our schedules and clinic flow to follow Public Health recommendations, we ask for your patience and understanding as we move through difference phases of reopening. For the time being, apart from our usual care and attention, this is what you can expect when seeing us:... 1. Our providers will be alternating work schedules to provide access to care while allowing for social distancing. 2. Patients and staff will be required to wear masks (cloth or surgical) while in the office unless asked to take them off by staff during appointment. If you have health issues that prevent you from wearing a mask, a face shield will be provided for you. Please let us know at the time of booking. 3. We have rearranged our waiting room and workspaces to help with social distancing as well as with sanitization. 4. If you need assistance during your visit, we ask that the person who brings you in waits in his/her car until your appointment is over to help us limit the number of people in the clinic at any one time. 5. If you have a caregiver who needs to attend the visit with you, he or she will also need to wear a mask. Please inform staff if this is the case at the time of booking. 6. Upon arrival, each patient (and caregiver, if there is one) will be asked specific COVID-19 screening questions. 7. We kindly ask you to use the hand sanitizers provided at the clinic upon entering and we have established handwashing protocols for everyone. 8. My dear clients/patients/friends, Despite most healthcare professionals being allowed to see patients in person again, this is NOT the case for manual osteopaths. It is due to some different regulations and I will only be allowed to see you all again when the restrictions are loosened further. I don’t know when that will be but it will definitely not be while Ontario is still in a state of emergency until June 30th, for now.
