Why is equality the goal? Yes equal under the law. Yes equal opportunity. But economic equality? Shouldn’t we strive for prosperity and purpose? That every person would have the self esteem that comes through work? Doing something hard and scary and maybe even extremely fulfilling? We need to create an economic framework where people are always better off if they choose to work. If we are truly concerned about the safety of women perhaps we should address pornography which often leads to violence, trafficking, addiction, marriage difficulties...
