Hey everybody, happy Wednesday. Check out this monster boardroom table we delivered a couple days ago to an office down town Toronto. This massive beauty is 16X62" at an astonishing 2200 lbs. We used about 1500 lbs of metal to build the base and 3 20 walnut slabs for the top. It was definitely a bit of a challenge due to the size but nothing we cant handle MetalWood Studio. We used our @festoolcanada #df700 domino for all our joints. #ts75tracksaw for cutting our angles an...d our #rotex150 and #ets150 to sand everything since this thing was to wide for toothless is We finished the top wide #polyxoil3043 from #osmocanada. @rampatech hardware for all our connections. Finally done and it looks incredible!! We used a large black walnut slab and poured 43liters of @ecopoxy liquid plastic with black pigment with caviar and dolphin metallic powder to give it the swirl, then we topped it with @osmocanada 1101 and then Polyx 3043 for the finish. For the base we took a sheet of 3/8" plate laser cut our design and bent it to shape and powder coated it black. So we scored a nice little pile of walnut logs all very straight.
