We have asparagus for sale!!!!!! Asparagus will be available in limited quantities daily for the next 4 weeks. We have a mix of varieties so there are fat ones and skinny ones all together! PRICE- $2.50 for 225g ( 1/2 lb) We currently have 3 lbs.

Big market and farm day today! we picked 140 lbs off the rhubarb today and it looks like we will be able to do that 4 or 5 more times. That’s 5 times more than last year! Our herbs are happy two year olds and producing consistently! The greenhouse isn’t over watered! We are putting in poly and planting next week! It’s feels like a big improvement!

Multi generational farming today! My Grandfather’s 1960 Massey Ferguson 35 is doing the spreading and my Massey Ferguson 2705 is doing the filling. All I needed was Phin here to drive one of these tractors for me to have 5 generations involved!

We had our first picking of rhubarb this morning! We picked 110 pounds for orders. More rhubarb will be ready this week. $2 a pound picked when required. Let us know if you want some!

Good Friday morning. For the market this week I am making fresh Tomato Cheddar Basil and Chicken Vegetable Noodle. I will have extras of both of these that can be picked up on Saturday. I also am offering half dozens of plain, herb and cheese and bacon and cheese breakfast biscuits. For this weekend, I am making Coconut Cream Pie and Sour Cream Lemon Pie which are available as whole pies or by the slice. The Lemon pie is a scratch pie.
