Only ten days left to sign up for the 6th Annual Youth Art Gala!

Feeling blue? If so, you should check out the 5 MYAC big blue chairs that are placed around the city. We encourage everyone to take a seat in them and pose for a selfie (or three!). If you do, tag @myacssm or/and @cityssm in the photo. Here are a few photos of our members with the chairs.

The 6th Annual Youth Art Gala’s submission date has been extended! This means that you have until the 24th of May to submit a piece (whether it be poetry, dance, a short film, etc) to be featured in the digital event, which will be broadcast on YouTube at a later date. Contact us at [email protected] for more information or to submit a piece.

Hello everyone, At this time we would like to do everything we can to keep people safe and healthy, and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Youth Art Gala. We would like to thank everyone who was planning to participate and/or attend this event. Remember to wash your hands and stay safe during this difficult time. Thank you all for your support.

The MYAC 2020 Art Gala is coming up on March 21st and we're looking for youth performers and submissions: visual art, photography, sculptures, short films, poetry, anything that expresses your own creativity and spirit! MYAC had a great time handing out hot chocolate at Moonlight Magic! Thanks to everyone who came and thank you to The Downtown Association for making this such a great event!
