Broadmoor Baptist Church 23.11.2020

Dear Friends; As of 3pm today, Dr. Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix announced new restrictions to help fight the recent surge in Covid-19 cases, and that includes the suspension of the 50 person indoor gathering limit. That means we can no longer have in-person worship gatherings for the time being. We will provide a message for Sunday on our YouTube channel featuring Pastor Al's message for Christ the King Sunday. More details will come in tomorrow's weekly email - if you're not on it, but want to be, call the church to have your name added. Stay safe, and fix your eyes on Jesus.

Just a reminder, Zoom Bible study is on for tonight, 7pm, as we continue through the Sermon on the Mount. The link was in the weekly email. Next Tuesday, November 24th, will be the last until the new year.

Today, Dr. Bonnie Henry has implemented new Covid-19 restrictions beginning 10pm November 7th through November 23rd., mostly focused on social gatherings, travel, indoor fitness and workplaces. However, at this time, this does not apply to our gathering for worship. Here is an excerpt from what was said, according to CBC News: "The restrictions do not apply to religious gatherings, so long as physical distancing can be maintained, and gatherings remain under 50 people." There...fore, yes, there is a gathering on Sunday; you must register on our website (bbchurch.ca) and stay safe - wear your mask at all times; use the hand sanitizers placed everywhere. Keep safe distances. Or, choose to head over to our YouTube channel for Sunday's worship gathering which will be available at 10:15am at this link: https://youtu.be/npwJsyAc9Ns And pray; Keep on praying for one another, for our city, for our province, country and indeed the world in these difficult times.

Yes, tonight's Zoom Bible Study in the Sermon on the Mount, is on as scheduled, 7pm. The link is the same as last week, and was also posted in the weekly email on Friday. Ian will be leading it once again and I believe we're at the beginning of Chapter 6. Hope you can attend!
