I’ve been MIA for a while now as this holiday season was spent with family. 2019 has seen 4 kids leaving our nest (1 in late 2018), venturing out as a new home owner, new job in another city, college and travelling. So, I took full advantage of spending time with my kids while most of them were home. Today saw the last one making his trek back home. AND, I’m so excited that in less than a month I will be making my first ever out of country trip .... to visit my daughter She...lby in Australia. Cannot wait!! A little throw back to some knitted goodies made for a beautiful mom and her daughters for Christmas! So excited to show this new toque off . I had a custom for a toque with one big heart. Sounds easy, right? So I charted it up and started to knit it in. Nope, didn’t look right. Started again, and again, and .... still not what I was envisioning. So I thought, why can’t I embroider it on!! A few attempts later, I realized there must be a special technique and the research began. I ended up with this! I’m so loving it! What do you think? Have a happy Thursday!!
