Welcome to our City Church Worship Experience! Are you looking for a church in Montreal? City Church is a vibrant, family-friendly community of imperfect people who came together in 2013 to share life and shine light in our city--and in other cities around the world. We are honoured to share our City Church Sunday experience with you today from Sunday, November 1st, 2020. Each Sunday, we come together--physically or virtually. ... Today, we are continuing our series called, "KINGDOM" where we are looking at the upside-down nature of Jesus' life and parables in the New Testament. It will challenge, inspire and invite you into a brand new level of faith! During Covid-19, we have been gathering together online, proving that the church is not a building or an event. The Church is not a building; we are a group of people united on mission together. Even as cases in Québec are escalating again, we will stick together, and because of Jesus, ça va bien aller will be proven true one day soon. City Church comes together to Share Life and to Shine Light. In this global pandemic, each of us are discovering in a fresh way just how powerful interpersonal relationships are for our well being. And when we come together for the good of others, we can shine much brighter together. Our hope is to be that bright light in the city of Montreal--and to the cities around the world. Shining Light is about loving our neighbours, fighting injustice, supporting people in difficult seasons, and partnering with great organizations. Our hub is in the city of Montréal, but we impact cities as far away as Cebu in The Philippines, in India, and in cities across North America through our missions efforts. Today, we will interact together, give you an opportunity to express yourself, and to connect through music, prayer, a relevant message, and at the end, we even have a special time for all kids--and kids at heart! Our prayer is that today's experience will lift you up, and give you strength and wisdom for the week ahead. We know that God loves you and wants the best for your life. Promises Spirit of fear Peace

Join us this Saturday, November 28 at 5pm for a 45-minute Zoom call to celebrate Advent, the anticipation of the birth of Jesus. We’ll take communion, light our Advent candles together, watch a short kids video, sing a song or two and maybe even dance a little You can make your own Advent wreath or stop by the City Church office and we have put together a package with everything you need, including great devotionals to do at home. On this Christ The King Sunday, we hear our Lord say these words and we agree: "Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you made me your guest, I needed clothes and you provided them, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me. Whenever you did these things for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for me!’"
