Hand sanitizer is often more convenient when you are outside of the home, but can be expensive or difficult to find in emergency contexts. Also, alcohol-based hand sanitizer kills the coronavirus, but it does not kill all kinds of bacteria and viruses. Dear Patients, In correspondence with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario we should avoid all non-essential and elective dental services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our office always strictly follows the sterilization and infection control protocols set out by all of our various governing and advisory bodies, including the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario..., the Ontario Dental Association and the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. These protocols are designed to continue managing and controlling all of the possible contaminants and pathogens within the dental environment, including Coronavirus.
