Hey everyone, as Karly mentioned earlier this week with some restrictions slowly being lifted we are getting closer to opening our doors to greet you all. As mentioned the dental governing bodies are working on making that happen as safely as possible before non essential services can be granted a green light. We thank you for your patience during this unpredictable time. With that being said myDentalcare hygiene team want to encourage everyone to continue daily oral healthcare as well as be mindful of provincial guidelines and recommendations to stay healthy. Hi everyone, Olivia here. Happy Monday! May is here along with warmer weather hooray! The sunshine certainly encourages us to leave the safety of our homes in these uncertain times. As much as it appears we may be getting closer to re opening Mydentalcare, the chance of us meeting again safely relies upon our adherence to some simple recommendations ....so along with our encouragement to daily brush and floss we also encourage you to continue these daily practices...untill we meet again...stay safe everyone

**UPDATE** Hi everyone, As many of you are aware, we have been given the go ahead to resume dentistry services. ... However, our governing body needs time to formulate guidelines that we will have to follow, to ensure that our already high quality and safe clinical care keep our patients and staffs safety and best interest at heart. With that being said, we do not have an opening date but as soon as we know, we will announce. We cannot wait to get back to work and see our patients smiling faces! Hey everyone! We at myDentalcare have been doing our part during this pandemic as I am sure you all have as well. A glimmer of hope as Covid 19 numbers as a whole have some increased recoveries. As time has lapsed restrictions are slowly being eased and somewhat lifted. We encourage you all to continue practicing gov't recommendations during this time. The RCDSO is not going to look at dental offices reopening until the state of emergency is lifted. However, we are accepting emergencies. If you have a dental emergency or question, please call us and we will get back to you as soon as we can. ... If you have an upcoming appointment, please note that ALL appointments have been cancelled. We will be contacting everyone to rebook as soon as we are able. We appreciate your patience at this time. Hi everyone. We hope you are all keeping healthy and safe. Here is an update posted from our governing body, the RCDSO:... "Since our advice to dentists released March 15, the Government of Ontario has declared a State of Emergency. The government has also clarified that only health care professionals providing emergency care including dentists are considered to be in the category of ‘essential services’. As a result, the College will not revisit its strong recommendation that all non-essential and elective dental services should be suspended until the State of Emergency has been lifted by the Government of Ontario." We are still open accepting "emergency only" patients. We are here Monday-Friday answering your calls and concerns. We hope to reopen as soon as possible! Your My Dental Care family <3

We just wanted to take a moment to thank all of our patients. Thank you for being so understanding during these uncertain times. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has strongly recommended that all non-essential and elective dental services should be suspended immediately. We will be following the direction of the RCDSO at this time. However, we will remain open for emergency appointments if you are in pain and/or have an active infection. Someone will be in the office to take your calls, address your concerns and reschedule your appoi...ntments. If you have a cough and/or fever, and have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, we kindly ask you to follow Health Canada’s recommendations and call Public Health in regards to protocol and to not come in to our office to protect our staff and patients inside. If you have an upcoming appointment with us, we will be contacting you all to reschedule. We do apologize, we will update everyone when we have more information and we hope that you all stay safe.
