Margaret Watson was a special guest in our Halloween themed Colour Blast class this week, here to read her children's book "If Art Had Words. Margaret’s son, Sean, was a DVSA student years ago, taking cartooning classes with our own Jerry Hish among others. He went on to receive a degree in Illustration from Sheridan. When Sean passed away in 2017 after his battle with cancer, Margaret decided to put his illustrations into a book. Not only did the students get to hear Margaret's story, but they also received their own personal copies of the book so they could study Sean’s illustrations up close. Thank you, Margaret, for sharing this wonderful tribute to the talents and spirit of your son.
