Keep in mind that a certified electrician is not allowed to offer services directly to the homeowner or to file notifications of work. Only if they are employed by the LEC, they can do the work in your house.

Came across to this house I am going to renovate in few days, knob and tube rewiring. Take a look at the panel, some handy work ha. I found cheap electrician to fix exposed wire he said. Well cheap enough to use a plumbing fitting as an elbow. First how did he managed to install this without removing the panel, even if he did removed the panel this will never pass inspection, so only that this was done without inspection it was done with not approved fittings. Great work cheap electrician. thumbs up

Just this morning one of my previous customers recommend MyElectric to take a look at the smoke and burning above the panel. This was the "cheapest certified electrician who replaced the panel" , I DON'T THINK SO, as there is no visible inspection stickers anywhere to be found. Just a little advice to you all, if someone says he is electrician and shows you licence it does not mean he is a certified electrical contractor, you have to do your diligence and ask for all credentials. This is what happens if you have a butcher does your electrical. Lucky home didn't burned down as there is no protection between your entrance and panel.
