#2016CookieCup I've just participated in a cause dear to my heart: The 2016 Multiple Myeloma March Cookie Kick-Off. I've baked a batch of cookies and donated $5 to support Myeloma Canada. Now it's your turn to have some fun, support a great cause, and run the chance of winning a $100 VISA gift card. To enter the contest: Bake the Myeloma March cookie recipe below and donate $5 to www.myelomamarch.ca. Copy this post and paste it on your Facebook timeline with your original coo...kie picture, and share your picture on the Myeloma Canada Facebook Page as well. Most creative picture wins! There you go! How easy, and delicious was that? Now tag your friends and get them baking and sharing their pictures. Ingredients 2/3 cup butter, softened 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 - 3/4 cup of dried cranberries 2/3 cup white chocolate chips Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 375F. 2. Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs; mix well. 3. In a separate bowl combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cranberries (make sure the cranberries are broken apart) and chocolate chips. 4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 24-30 cookies.
