The details always matter. When working on new designs, we know the details reflect the personality and feeling of the space. We appreciate that a masterpiece, a home, or a project that exemplifies our clients’ specifications and desired style takes meticulous time to master. Once upon a time, new rooms were designed by picking out finishes via a magazine or by stacking samples to see how different elements would work together. It was a bit of a guessing game and hoping for the best. Today's technology allows us to build realistic portrayals of these spaces without leaving the comfort and convenience of our desk, allowing for instant modifications and a representative finished project that everyone will be proud of and excited for.

The front door is the first thing your friends, family and the delivery person see when they come to your home. What do you want to portray? The outdoor entrance space is simple to decorate but has a powerful impact on your home's first impression. Here are some tips: 1. Get a Wreath. Easy to hang via an over-the-door attachment or via a small hook, wreaths are easy to change out to match the season or holiday and look good for years.... 2. Find a New Door Mat. From funny phrases to beautiful designs, door mats welcome your guests over the threshold and into your home. Plus, they may serve as a landing spot for your next delivery. 3. Use symmetry. If you add a plant to one side, make sure there is a balancing element on the other. An easy strategy for this is to mirror each side of the door, but there is room for creativity here, too. 4. Enhance your lights. Keeping in style with your home, add in new bulbs or lanterns to light up your home's entrance.

There's nothing like cozying up next to a fire with a good book on an antique chair next to an appealing mantelpiece!

Our client asked for a room to escape from it all and be transported into a 5-star experience. With this desire in mind, we designed and built a 100% custom bathroom with a large soaking tub adjacent to a large window and plenty of natural light. The all-white interior brings relaxation and peace to the occupant while ensuring cleanliness and safety - something we can all appreciate a bit more these days. The inlaid floor design was a special addition that really pulls the entire space together - don't you agree?

Rugs are such a great way to bring a room together while adding some extra comfort under your feet. However, the wrong rug can distract from the space and make you question why you brought it in. Here are some rug do's and don'ts: 1. DO. Put the front legs of your sofa and armchairs on the rug. This way the rug disappears underneath the furniture and the furniture acts as a frame to the area. 2. DON'T. Big rugs can be expensive but small rugs won't be the right fit and you'll... have to replace them later. Go with the big rug from the start and save money later. 3. DO. Keep rugs centralized so that when people are walking through, they have both feet on the rug instead of one on and one off. Be sure to keep rugs with equal space on all sides, too. 4. DON'T. Color and design can be the perfect addition to your room so don't be afraid of a bold rug! Did you know we design and build custom rugs? Contact us to learn more!
