As I worked long hours yesterday creating healthy & beneficial food for you, I listened to this video and was reminded of my mission--to build a fully conscious food company which feeds people 'as a mother would feed her own children'. I know my efforts are appreciated and rewarded....and I am grateful to have found the venue to put my gifts in service. We all have to do our part if there is to be hope for the future. Be a food activist. Be conscious of our choices on all lev...els--they really do impact the direction of the evolution of the food industry...I am inspired by small victories that consumer demand has created...organic availability, increased vegetarian/vegan options, decline of saturated fats, availability of non-sugared soda waters and alcoholic coolers...all things moving in a good direction. I will be in Nanaimo, Beban Park 2-6pm after all tomorrow, but not with the food truck...I'll be there with the line of groceries and frozen foods working from my tent outside...its supposed to be a fairly lovely day... although its pretty dark by 4:30!!
