People are asking what is happening within the Real Estate industry and the current housing market. This is our letter in response. To all of our friends, past clients and possible future clients. We have always put your safety and comfort at the forefront of our minds in serving you with your Real Estate needs. During these unusual and unprecedented health and safety challenges which we are all facing, we will continue to do so. As such, even though Real Estate has been dee...med by the Ontario government to be considered an essential service, and real estate trading may continue, it is not business as usual. We remain under a state of emergency and have a duty to follow all directives from health officials, depending on your situation, to isolate, quarantine, stay 6' apart and to stay home as much as possible. If you are in dire circumstances or have urgent Real Estate needs that must be attended to, we are here to discuss possible solutions, alternatives and a plan to offer assistance, without compromising the health and safety of you and/or others. Embracing the use of digital technology is essential in following the mandate. Open houses are not being held and showings are not only limited to those that are absolutely necessary, but are carefully supervised under the current health guidelines. Technical solutions which reduce or entirely eliminate interpersonal interaction during a real estate transaction can be discussed and implemented. We hope you are doing well and are enjoying your home more than ever beforethat you are able to enjoy the safety, comfort, community spirit and valuable family time we can appreciate during these challenging times. From our family to yours...please stay safe! Jane and Leo The house of everyone is to him as to his castle and fortress, as well for his defense against injury and violence as for his repose.
