I’ve been holding onto this wool-blend green and orange plaid for a while; I didn’t dare cut into it until I was sure of the design that would give it its best (second) life. Ultimately, I decided to keep the width generous, and with the weight of the wool, this wrap provides the same degree of warmth and protection as a light winter coat. Maybe more! I closed the sides so you’re not constantly fussing with the ends (so maybe ‘wrap’ isn’t the right term?). The weight & textur...e of the fabric holds everything in place perfectly. The seams are inset about 9 inches, and the sleeves create a beautiful winged effect. The sleeves and fringed bottom create wonderful movement as you walk.
