A great day today at the 'Hanoi Disabled People's Association'. All the staff were women and they were super-charming, helpful and receptive. Tomorrow and the next day I'll be at 'Bach Mai Hospital' here, founded in 1911 and the largest in Vietnam. There rehab dpt is also huge. Handicapped people filter in there from all over Vietnam. It's gonna be a very different experience...

I'm on, like, my 4th batch of mirrors now and, totally by chance, in the Pettah in Colombo I found this material which is both cool, and which I don't understand. It's like an aluminum/acrylic compound.... a hybrid.... anyhow it works; it's the best shit that I've ever found for my (our) needs. So I'm stoked. It's 'spensive and it ain't light, but it's tight and it's right!!

MMM has been on a good roll. Wrapping up in Myanmar now after a successful and impactful work trip in Sri Lanka. Hanoi on Tuesday if health permits. You'll see that on this trip I've chosen to focus more on presenting at hospitals, clinics and universities rather than riding up into the villages. It's a little harder in a way; you've generally got to get permission from the gov't: Ministry of Health, Social Affairs, etc. But I think it's worth. Hanoi will likely be my last st...op as I'm quickly running out of funds. Please consider helping and certainly spreading the word to your friends and colleagues. Big Happy times for meandmymirror.org I'm in Yangon, Myanmar and this is yesterday working at the UMTY (University of Medical Technology Yangon). There is a National Prosthetics and Orthotics school attached to it (MSPO)... so it was a joyful double-down. Massive thanks to Thearith Heang who kinda runs the show at the school and without whose help none of this would have been possible. You need permission for Everything here: from the Ministry of Health etc, etc... and Thearith helped me along with all that stuff. This was yesterday at the Uni and was, truly, one of the best days in the 7 or 8 yr history of MMM... thanks so much to the very many locals who helped it all shake down! Making a Big Little Difference here...
