Update: Day Camp & Child Care Reopening On June 9th, the Ministry of Education announced its plan to reopen licensed child care centres province wide. Although, it was announced that licensed child care centres could open as early as Friday, June 12th; we ask for you patience, as we fully expect that we will not be able to open immediately. We are aware that the Ministry of Education and the provincial government have placed strict requirements on all child care operators t...o follow stringent health protocols to ensure the safety of staff and children before reopening. At this time, specific operating requirements for licensed child care centres under a global pandemic, while imminent, have not yet been released by the Ministry of Education. Therefore, the timeline for reopening will depend on the additional requirements set out by the provincial government; such as mandatory training and reporting, developing new policies and response plans, as well as receiving approval from the local medical officer of health and Public Health Department. Once, we have met all the criteria and guidelines for reopening, we will then be permitted to reopen. We will continue to keep you informed as we receive more details and have a better idea on the timeline requirements and health inspection dates issued. We are excited to see some of our families back in the hallways soon. Thank you again for your understanding and continued support! Stay safe and healthy!
