On September 30, 2020 we picked up sticks and relocated to Silver Water, a hamlet in the beautiful west end of Manitoulin Island. We are reclaiming an acre of abandoned pastureland and garden from the encroaching forest with the intention of creating what is known as silvopasture agriculture. We will keep in balance the forest and our cultivation as good stewards should. So far it is amazing.. we have no less than 7 apple trees and we traded 7 chickens for 6 ruffed grouse...now how do I get them to lay me some eggs??
