We have been so overwhelmed by our growth since our launch and wanted to reintroduce myself to all of you! Pure Mentality was founded by me, Erika Pozzuoli, RSW, MSW. After working 10 years in the non profit, mental health sector, I was interested in growing my private practice with a specialization in self care and goal planning. The boutique came from my love of local, one of a kind products who share my passion to open the dialogue about mental wellness and he...lp those living with mental health symptoms. Living with mental health, and serving in the mental health field, has encouraged me to make self care a priority for myself, those around me and those I supports. We all need good habits, but it isn't always easy. Habit formation is the process by which behaviours become automatic. ... We develop countless habits subconsciously, but I want to chat about the ones we want to work for, that don't come so easy. They say it takes approximately 21 days to develop a new habit. From experience, I have seen this timeline work and I have also seen it fail miserably but it is definitely a great starting point. There are many things to consider when starting a new habit, like your environment, your support system and your drive!!
