TW: Pet Loss Rest well our sweet boy, Bentley. Boston Terriers were bred to be companion dogs, and that’s exactly what you were in every sense of the word. You were happiest snuggled beside us, the closer the better. You were hilarious and gentle. You truly were the best little bud and were with me through the best days of my life in the past 12 years. The best part is, once we had kids you were now able to be the best bud to your human brothers too. Deciding to make the call... was the hardest thing I have ever done, but your little body just couldn’t keep up anymore. If snuggles and love could make you live forever, we certainly tried our best. The empty spot in the bed isn’t nearly as big as the hole in our hearts we miss you so much already little Bentz. I’ve been hanging low on social media the past few days as I’ve been soaking up every last snuggle and family time with our beloved pup, Bentley (12 yr old Boston Terrier). His health has declined significantly in the past couple days and he’s on meds to keep calm and sleepy. I’ve been taking him on our walks in a baby sling, keeping him close by every minute of the day, getting in every minute I can to let him feel our love. This is seriously the worst. There have been so ma...ny people popping up in my feed recently with losing their pets and I feel a lot of comfort knowing I’m not alone right now.
