We're excited to see everyone back at Mystery Mountain this weekend! It's been a busy start to the season, and we're stoked to see so many people enjoying the park! We just have a few reminders for everyone enjoying the park this weekend. Cases in Thompson are climbing after the holidays: We're super lucky to be allowed to open this year, but members and day users need to do their part. 1. Wear your non-medical mask in the chalet, cover your face in the lift line.... 2. Space yourselves out six feet apart while waiting for the lift line. Yes, it's going to mean a big long line-up, but them's the breaks this year. 3. Do not cluster with your friends at the top of the runs. Along with wearing a non-medical mask in the chalet, we're also asking skiers and snowboarders to make sure their face is covered by a neckwarmer while they're in the lift lines or otherwise near people. It's a simple precaution to help reduce the likelihood of spreading COVID-19 when social distancing becomes more difficult. We had a great opening day yesterday, and we're excited to see everyone out tomorrow!

Much like other outdoor parks and facilities this year, we're expecting opening day at Mystery Mountain to be busier than usual. We're asking that, on Saturday, day pass users wait until 12:00pm before arriving at the ski hill to purchase day passes. Those who purchased memberships may still arrive at 10:00am. We will have a few of our board members on the ground outside to help guide you through the new process when you arrive!... Importantly, DON'T FORGET YOUR MASK. Indoors, you still must wear a non-medical mask while purchasing your ticket and getting your rental gear. Neckwarmers are not substitutes. Please remember that our ability to stay open depends on everyone working together and following the proper precautions. Remember to ski safe, and we'll still have a great 20/21 season!

Mystery Mountain Winter Park is seeking a rental shop technician! The tech will size people up for skis, snowboards, and boots, make minor equipment repairs, and help new riders experience the slopes! We need someone who is consistently available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am - 4:30pm from the beginning of January until the end of March. The successful applicant will be 18 years old or over, provide their own transportation to Mystery Mountain Winter Park, pass a Criminal Records and Child Abuse Registry Check, and provide us with references. We WILL provide you with training! Call 204-670-2069 if you're interested!

I don't know about you guys, but we're pretty stoked for opening weekend on January 2! Remember that things look a little different this year, with the big change being that guests can't hang out in the chalet. That makes it important to bring a dry change of clothes, a thermos of hot fluid, and a change of gloves/mitts.
