Here’s a little bit about our new RMT, Alexandra! Alexandra was born and raised in Thompson, MB. She graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Winnipeg, MB in 2016 with training in specific assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, as well as receiving certificates in Sports Massage Therapy and clinical cupping. After graduating, Alex spent the next 5 years working at a multidisciplinary clinic in Selkirk, MB where she was part of a rehabilitation team primarily treating injured athletes, WCB, VAC, and MPI patients.

I have some VERY exciting news! We have added another Registered Massage Therapist to the team. I am very excited to have Alex join me at the practice. She will be starting Monday May 10th but it will take us a bit to set up her direct billing credentials so all her appointments will be pay and submit for a while. I’ve recently had some questions about my cancellation policy so I thought I’d explain it here for anyone who may have similar questions. This information can also be found in my intake forms. Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a fee of $25. If you do not show up for y...our appointment with no call or warning you will be subject to the full cost of the appointment. I try to book clients in as quickly as possible, but with my schedule filling sometimes weeks in advance that is getting more difficult. If clients don’t show up for their appointment with no notice I can’t fill that spot with someone who needs it. This policy is in place to discourage that. I do try to be understanding, especially with COVID related cancellations. Thanks to all of my wonderful clients I’ve rarely had to make use of this policy. Thank you all and have a great Sunday!
