Hello Everyone! A reminder that our 2021 AGM is scheduled for tomorrow, June 1 at 6:00pm! You can log in through Zoom at the link below! https://us04web.zoom.us/j/75803440928
We're hosting our annual AGM early this year, so we can start planning for the next ski season this summer! The AGM will be hosted on June 1, 2021 at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held on Zoom, with details to be posted closer to the date. If you want to help shape Mystery Mountain's 2021/2022 season, make a note in your calendar and let us know if you want to attend!
It's official: this weekend is our LAST WEEKEND! Rentals will only be available on Saturday! Our team went out to take a look at the slopes this morning, and the lift lines are starting to show bare patches. We'll be able to keep the T-Bar covered for the weekend, but we won't be able to keep up with the melt after that. Otherwise, there's still plenty of snow on the slopes outside of the lift line, and the rope tow is still looking fairly clean! Come out and say goodbye to the ski season!
With the big dump of snow this week, and some cold temperatures to harden it up, the parking lot has a fresh coat of snow on it! That means rentals will be available for ONE MORE WEEKEND! If trying out skiing was on your bucket list this winter, now is the time to tick it off! Parking lot aside, there's still lots of snow on the slopes, and we'll stay open as long as it's safe to ride. Even with the warm weather this weekend, the conditions will be great! April is coming and our days are numbered though, so get your skiing in while you can!
As we enter the last stretch of the season, we're discontinuing equipment rentals to help protect our equipment from damage. The snow in our parking lot has melted quite a bit, and there's a lot of exposed rocks. Don't let the parking lot or conditions in town fool you though: There is still *lots* of snow on the slopes, and with more snow coming down this week, it looks like we still have a solid few weekends ahead of us! The season isn't over yet, so get your turns in while you can! Summer is coming!
The weather has been super warm this week, but there's still plenty of snow to go around at Mystery Mountain! We can't wait to see everyone at the hill this weekend! If you're a member, don't forget to bring your season pass. If you are a day user, please ensure your ticket is easily visible. With the high volume of skiers and the high numbers of COVID-19 in the community, we were lax about checking passes to help keep traffic minimal and spread out throughout the park. As th...ings settle down, we'll be checking passes more diligently into the end of the season. See you on the slopes!
It's Vale Day again this weekend, and what a warm weekend it's going to be! Can't wait to see everyone there!
The wind is howling outside today: including the windchill, it's -40C. We remind parents not to drop off their young children unattended when the temperatures are this cold. The chalet is not open for the public, so skiers must always be old enough to able to make responsible decisions about their well-being, look after themselves, and have a vehicle in which they can take shelter.... Frostbite, even hypothermia, are serious concerns at these temperatures, especially when children get sweaty while active, and then cold when they rest.
It's Vale Weekend at Mystery Mountain Winter Park! If you're a Vale employee, bring your family and come out to try skiing or snowboarding this weekend, or on March 5 and 6! Choose a free lift pass for the slopes, or a free Cross Country or Snowshoe rental! Don't forget your employee ID!
TGIF: The weekend is here and it's going to be a *balmy*, with -10C on Saturday, and -4C on Sunday! We might just get heatstroke! Bust out the tailgate stoves and get some fresh air! Just remember the fundamentals: cover your face, and give each other space! We want to see Thompson stay healthy through the ski season! @ghostinthebushes... . . . . . . #thompson #manitoba #skimb #trailsmb #exploremb #mysterymountain See more
What do you do when you have an extra day of the weekend? You go skiing! We're open tomorrow, February 15, for Louis Riel Day! The cold spell is over: it's forecasted to be a balmy -16C tomorrow, so we are fully open starting at 10:00am as normal! See you on the slopes!
Come out and celebrate the return of warm February weather tomorrow! For Valentine's Day only, save on discounted ski and snowboarding packages! Full snowboard packages for $25, full ski packages for $20!
NOON OPENING TOMORROW! It's still pretty cold tomorrow morning (Saturday, February 13), and our lift motors could do without the cold start. We'll be opening the hill a little late tomorrow at 12:00pm to give the day some time to warm up!... See you on the slopes!
It's forecasted to be outrageously cold this weekend. Like, -40C-with-the-windchill cold. As a result, and as per our Cold Weather Policy, we're going to be closed this weekend. I know, you're a hardo northerner and can handle it, but our equipment can't. If the weather improves next weekend (and it looks like it will) we'll be open again next week!
