Balgonie's Talk of the Town 22.01.2021

Thank you to our wonderful staff who were up throughout the night and early this morning checking on our lift stations & cleaning our streets. We are very fortu...nate! Please Remember: The Town boulevard portion at the front of each property is approximately 12-20 feet. Although our residents care for the boulevards, it is the Town's property and therefore this is where the snow is placed. Soft landscaping, such as sprinklers, rocks, gardens, etc. are placed there at your own risk. There may be ridges left at the end of resident's driveways by the grader due to the amount of snow received. Unfortunately the Town staff cannot come back and clear each ridge. Therefore, we suggest removing the ridge as soon as possible to avoid it hardening. Main streets are done first, followed by side streets and then alleys. It may take a while for all streets and alleys to be cleared due to the amount of snow. We thank you for your patience and understanding! Stay safe.

Big thank you to the 4-H groups that are out helping shoveling snow from driveways! So nice to see people out helping one another. Our staff members are working hard and appreciate your patience, as your know there is a lot of snow out there.

We are very fortunate to have great staff to clear our streets and sidewalks for us! This time consuming job is made a lot easier when vehicles, garbage bins, t...railers, etc. are moved off of the streets and boulevards.
