What would you do if people came to your house in the middle of the night and told you to pack your things? What would you do if you were interned as a result of your religion or race? "Internment" is the story of Layla Amin, a teenager who, with her parents, is sent to an internment camp because they are Muslim. There, Layla starts an uprising, with the help of other internees and an unexpected alliance. This is a story of hope and resilience, and a reminder that we must all fight complicit silence. Join in the discussion at 7pm on November 3. To register for the Zoom chat, copy and paste this link: https://www.mywpl.ca/teen-book-clubs
