We are very excited to announce that due to a very popular request from our guests, they will now be revised to stay entirely within Canada! No need for passports or expensive insurance coverage. Hopefully, as 2021 goes along, vaccinations and distancing will work to make it better and better for travel. As members of tourism industry associations, we have access to the best and most up-to-date practices regarding transportation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Last Saturday, Nagel Tours participated in the Kingsway Avenue Drive Through Christmas Parade put on by the Kingsway District Association. Here are some photos from their Facebook page. We're very happy that we have had two successful tours operate this fall on our Close to Home Tour series. This post is about our Victoria Stay Awhile tour which departed on October 3rd, a 9 day tour with a five night stay in Victoria, BC. Another small, socially distanced group travelled with Driver Clint Frearson and Tour Director Eric Longbottom through beautiful Fall Colours to Vancouver Island and a long stay in Victoria BC. We had activities planned for three days, with a full free day to enjoy this fantastic city on the West Coast. This tour returned this past Sunday, October 11th, a group of healthy travellers happy for being able to at least enjoy some limited travel during these pandemic days.

Our guaranteed tour to the Okanagan departs on September 20th with limited seating still available! Like many of you, we at Nagel Tours miss travelling we miss seeing you and taking you on your lifes journeys! However, we know that everyone is concerned for health and safety as we resume our lives during the current pandemic. We are hopeful that we will be able to resume some of our travel this fall. Our Deep South tour passengers, happy and healthy in the swamps of Louisiana. Were pleased that we got to see this place before heading home tomorrow at an accelerated schedule. For the families at home, we understand your concerns and share them. We will have Saskatchewan people dropped off on Saturday, and Alberta folks will be home Sunday, after a few long days of travel.

Our Deep South tour is continuing along, heres a few photos from the last few days in Texas. The weather is warm, which is great. Heres our visit to Dallas and San Antonio; today we continue to Corpus Christi and the Gulf of Mexico.

Our Deep South passengers have reached the end of day 3, a visit to the Terry Redlin Art Center in Watertown SD, before overnighting here. Julie even greeted us in an outfit in matching colour! (not shown, matching boots)

Our Arizona Desert and Canyons group started on the Canyons part of the tour yesterday with a visit to the Grand Canyon. One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, pictures hardly do it justice. Today, on to a visit to Zion Canyon in Utah.

After a couple of nice (though overcast) days in Tucson, our Arizona Desert and Canyons tour arrived in the Phoenix area this morning in the bright desert sunshine. We went to the Orange Patch in Mesa first, where we drank some fresh orange juice and learned about growing, harvesting, processing and grading citrus. This afternoon, a city tour awaits us!

Our Arizona Desert and Canyons trip has crossed the Colorado River and entered Arizona - our goal! Weve only just begun, well be spending 8 days here in the Grand Canyon State. Here are a few photos from today.

Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains! Our Nashville Branson and the Smoky Mountains group has been enjoying some beautiful scenery and fun times. Weve seen two shows - Dolly Partons Stampede and the Hatfield and McCoys Dinner Feud, plus spent a day at Dollywood and another morning touring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Its been great weather, even the early morning rain stopped and cleared off for us so we could see some of the rugged countryside and fall colours in the national park.

Our Nashville Branson and the Smoky Mountains tour group and our second Nashville Branson Memphis tour group are at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville TN tonight. Entertainers tonight include Jeannie Seely, Mike Snider, Bill Anderson, Connie Smith, Old Crow Medicine Show and many others!

Our Nashville, Branson and the Smoky Mountains group is on a driving tour of Memphis Tennessee today, heres a view of the Mississippi River and the Memphis skyline, along with the iconic Memphis bridge.

After seeing Million Dollar Quartet on Sunday night in Branson, our NBD group decided to stop and take a tour of Sun Studios in Memphis, where the actual recordings the show is based on were made. A very enjoyable short tour of such an important place in music history!

Our Cross Canada and Eastern Canada tours had their main touring event today: a cruise through the Thousand Islands. A beautiful morning, cool to start but warming as the day went on. By afternoon as we headed to Ottawa, clouds moved in for a night of rain.

Today, our last two eastern tours got started - Newfoundland and Best of the Maritimes left Toronto for Ottawa, and Eastern Canada Fall Foliage joined our Cross Canada tour for a morning sightseeing in Toronto, and then a drive to the Thousand Islands region of Eastern Ontario. Views from CN Tower, around the city on a city tour, and then into Kingston for overnight.

A drive from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Toronto, via Sudbury and the Big Nickel. Now our Cross Canada tour can slow down a bit, relax, and start to see all the fantastic sights of Eastern Canada.

Our Cross Canada tour was driving around Lake Superior today, we started out with a Superior sunrise and views at the Terry Fox Memorial outside Thunder Bay, ON. We drove through lots of beautiful country, and stopped for a picnic lunch at Neys Provincial Park - it was cool, but some even ventured to out their feet in the lake. We visited Wawa, which means Snow Goose in the language of the Anishinaabeg people, and took pictures of the big goose. Tonight, were in Sault Ste Marie ON and on to Toronto tomorrow.
