To Our Customers, As you may have heard already, the Government of Ontario has allowed the Niagara Region to enter stage 2 of their re-opening plan. This means that nail salons will be allowed to operate as of Friday, June 19, 2020. We are extremely excited about this news! Nail Essentials' official re-open date is Monday, June 29, 2020. We have scheduled a few individuals to come in as a "soft-open" before our official re-open date to see how things flow in the shop, how... our safety protocols are working, and if there will need to be any adjustments before the official re-open date. Although the official re-open date is the 29th, we are NOW booking appointments for the 29th and on. So please call in and leave a message with your preferred time/date and service. You can also message the facebook page with your information as well. And as a reminder, we are not accepting any walk-ins until further notice. Thank you all for your continued patience. To our Customers, As we begin to see parts of Ontario enter stage 2, we are hopeful that the Niagara Region will soon follow suit and we can once again open our doors to you. The Government of Ontario has not confirmed an official date for us (nail salons, etc.), but we are hopeful that we will be operational by the end of this month / beginning of July. We will be sure to reach out to you via facebook, email, or text message when we have an official open date. We would like... to share with you the safety protocols that we will be following to keep ourselves and our customers safe and healthy. We encourage you to follow the Government’s guidelines and our Health and Safety measures so that we can continue to protect one another. We will be limiting entrance to the salon to those with appointments only please try to come alone and at the exact time of your appointment. We encourage you to wait in your vehicle or outside until we are ready to accept you. Please be patient as in-between-customer times may be longer so that we may properly sanitize and disinfect our workstations, our tools, and high traffic areas. Until further notice, we will only be taking appointments no walk ins. You can reach us on facebook, text Emma or Beth, or call in the shop for an appointment. We will be wearing face masks at all times and we encourage you to do so as well! We will be hand sanitizing / hand washing as frequently as possible and we ask that, before we begin work on you, that you wash / sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer will be readily available around the shop and the sink will be frequently sanitized for your use. We encourage you to continue to maintain social distancing practices within the shop. We have installed a clear barrier between the nail technician and the customer at each station don’t worry there is more than enough space for your hands! We have installed a clear barrier between the payment area as well. We ask that you limit the amount of touching of the nail polish bottles at the front of the salon, and we will disinfect that area diligently. If you are feeling ill, have been in contact with someone who is ill/feeling ill, or have recently travelled outside the province / country, please reschedule your appointment. It may seem like a lot of changes however we want to do our due diligence in keeping ourselves, our families, and our customers safe. We are all in this together it is everyone’s responsibility to protect each other by protecting ourselves. Thank you for sticking with us during these times. Hello All, Nail Essentials would like to wish everyone a safe and happy mother's day! We look forward to the day where we can book appointments, make your nails beautiful, and have a chat. But until then we are working to get the shop in a state that we feel will be the safest to operate in once we are allowed to do so. We will update you about the safety protocols that we've put in place once they are complete, and again when the Government of Canada/Ontario allows us to... reopen. Dear valued customers, With the mandate flowed down by government Ontario, and recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and government Canada, Nail Essentials will be temporarily shutting down its services starting tomorrow, March 18 2020. We will be closed until further notice. Although this decision is difficult for us, we value the health and well being of our staff and believe it is the most responsible approach. We thank everyone for their understanding and continued support. ... We hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
