Thought I better do my nails before the rush!! I never do sparkly red even though Carter says I should every time I do my nails. So in honour of him, here they are!!

Looks official guys that I can open on Friday. My first day will be Saturday and I have a waiting list started and am working through it in my spare moments! If you would like your name added to the list pls let me know!! A few things to keep in mind as I re open: I am allowed 25% occupancy which means one person at a time... Masks are mandatory If you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of covid you will be asked to reschedule your appointment we will be using the side door of the hair salon for entry and exit so we are not crossing paths with the hair salon clients! Thank you to all that have made appointments, put your name on my wait list and been so supportive and patient through this all! I cannot wait to see you all and catch up!!

Oooh those fingers and toes are crossed that I get to open Saturday!! Just wanted to let you all know that I have to be strict about my bookings. I have previous engagements booked already and cannot break them so I am making my schedule more firm...as of right now I will be doing Wednesday evenings and saturdays!! If you are thinking you would like to get on the wait list pls send me a msg and we can start the wait list process and once I get the official word I will book!! So who wants on the list?!

Possibly opening soon!!! Read yesterday that nail salons are being considered for the next phase of opening!! Now it’s not official so let’s not get too excited yet (I’m excited!) There are some rules we will need to follow if I do get to open. I will only be able to operate at 25% capacity which means I can only have one person in with me at a time. I will need to keep adequate spacing between appointments for sanitization (which I have been doing since I opened my busines...s!) masks will be required by all. I will still be operating out of the salon here in town (not my house) and we are considering my clients entering through another door so we aren’t interring with the hair salon clients. And of course as always, 24 hours notice for cancellations is required as I will have a wait list! Thank you all for you patience, cooperations and continued support through all this and hopefully I will get to see you all soon!

Just watched today’s press conference about the proposed reopening on Friday and it’s not looking so hot for me. I am happy for my hairdressing friends but sad and confused as to why nail salons are not being considered at this time. If you have an appointment booked we will hold them till we get the for sure on Friday and I will the msg each of you privately to cancel to ensure that we are all on the same page! I sure miss you all...it’s been a very long and straining stretch
