An in depth discussion with @phoenixconcreteworks as to the process we went through to achieve a matte concrete floor for my new studio space

My Forever & Always. Karl & Charlie - my two loves. I had zero expectations on how my new tattoo was going to turn out; I just knew it was going to be amazing because I trusted Trudy 100%. The result was even better than I could have imagined - thank you @trudy_lines_tattoo for creating a piece of art that I will forever cherish ... And ...if you haven't noticed - I'm in my wedding dress and Karl is in a suit (the strategically placed hand with a wedding band might also be the dead give away ) which means we received our wedding photos last night!!!! Which also means periodic interruptions with wedding photos will ensue because they are spectacular!! #sorrynotsorry . . : @gabemcclintock

Renderings are a fantastic way to convey design ideas, but there's nothing quite like the real deal. . f l a t l a y [white russian] I love how easily this colour palette of soft greys, whites and textured black came together. The true hero here will be the combination of a 'terrazzo' porcelain paired with a wood wall tile; my current crush (and all time fav) Stone Tile West Arte (white) is the PERFECT tile to set the tone. I can't wait to watch this one come to life. ... If you haven't already, check out my latest InstaStory showcasing the latest and greatest for #WhiteRussian

From Cafe's to Construction Sites. We’re taking it down to the studs with this post. I'm almost four months into this #entrepreneurbusiness which means for the last four months it's been ALL ABOUT DESIGN. So it's about time that we start into. . .CONSTRUCTION!... Conceptualizing and designing is obviously my favourite, but construction is why I delved into Interior Design. I love working through the details on how to build what it is I'm designing and understanding the various techniques to do so - each contractor and trade seems to have a little trick up their sleeve. I may be solo in the office, but on site - it's all about team work (most of the time). There's nothing quite like watching a house being built, it truly is one of my simple joys in life. Framing at #HumbleHeights (more to come) is complete, we're boarding at MuniSight (an office TI), and the guys at #WhiteRussian were on site yesterday to kick things off.. Needless to say it's going to be an exciting few months !!
