In September 2019 the Nakusp Rail Society acquired the Jordan Spreader (built in 1913) from the Revelstoke Railway Museum. Our volunteers have been working very diligently on the restoration this year and it is looking amazing! The 2019 acquisition was funded in part by the Columbia Basin Trust and Heritage BC through the Heritage, Museum and Archive Grants. We would not have been able to do any of our work without the generous support of various grants and donations over the years.

Another mystery location of a sternwheeler landing for you experts out there. It looks like Kaslo, BC to me except for those buildings across the water? I cant make out the name of the sternwheeler? Update: It is the SS Bonnington at the Nakusp Wharf. BC Archives.
