Effective July 24th at Noon PST -- Category 2 and 3 Fires Restricted Cat 2 includes open fires large than 0.5m high x 0.5m wide of waste/ slash, stubble or grass of any size over any area, sky lanterns, fireworks (including firecrackers), binary exploding targets, burn barrels/ cages and air curtain burners. Cat 3 includes any fire larger than 2m high x 3m wide, three or more concurrent burning piles, one or more windrows, stubble or grass over an area greater than 0.2 hecta...res. THIS PROHIBITION DOES NOT BAN CAMPFIRES (0.5m high x 0.5 wide or smaller), and does not apply to cooking stoves that use gas, propane or briquettes.
