Introducing Indonesian food and the diversity it brings. Did you know Indonesia is country with over 17,000 islands and is spread across 1,904,569 square kilometres (735,358 square miles), With over 267 million people. We are introducing food representing this cultural diversity with our new food vendor Kembali Food. This company was launched on Aug 10 in Vancouver by folks in Vancouver who are very passionate about their homeland. We can now take bulk orders for weddings and... events for Sunshine Coast. The event can be anywhere and we can help get this fabulous cuisine to your door step. For smaller orders we plan to bring the first batch ready to eat meals on Sep 12 2020. The details of the same will be posted soon. In time the the menu list will be increased and the food will be more readily available. However we are super happy to get started on this journey. The Indian Pantry catering company is the brainchild of celebrated chef Tushar Tondvalkar . ... Made from fresh produce in small batches, right here in BC these products are Vegan, Gluten Free, Have No Preservatives. These sauces have either no added sugar or in a rare case low added sugar. High on Flavor and Low on Heat profile ( with the option to add heat and spice) these simmering sauces are perfect for someone wanting to try the real Indian Flavors without leaving the comfort of their home. We are bringing the first batch to the coast on July 28. We are happy to take Pre-Orders. Each Simmering Sauce will have an introductory price of CAD 11.00 and Spice Blend CAD 10.00. This long weekend take a journey with us through the historical silk route. The aroma and flavors of the spices from India have motivated travelers and traders travel across continents and oceans since time immemorial. You can take this journey with a quick trip to our fair trade store in Lower Gibsons. Less than 10 mins cook time for any of the simmering sauces and you have arrived at your destination full of aroma and flavor. Chef Tushar Tondvalkar has very consciously kept the heat profile very low ( heat can be added too) and brings these fabulous sauces that are always made from fresh produce, are vegan and gluten free and and have no artificial colors or preservative. 4 Simmering Sauces and 5 Spice blends to play with! A thing of beauty, lasts forever!

Its a beautiful day in Gibsons, BC! Dr. Bonnie Henry and the province has allowed businesses to be open. We are still working on our health and safety protocols and upgrading our facilities. We will open only when we have dotted the last i’s and crossed the last t’s. We are aiming for an early June opening and will keep you informed. Thank you for your continued support! We will be back soon, stronger and wiser from this pandemic. The artisans we work with (mostly women) are busy working in the safety of their homes and making a living for their families. When the news of the virus started to spread we reached out to them and made sure they had materials and work for the tough times ahead. When things open up we at Namaste Art will truly appreciate your support in buying some of these things and supporting these artisans and our local business.
