The last few years has me examining what self-love means. What it means for me to do the work and what it means in the interactions I have with others. I can be my toughest critic, always looking to be and do better. I work at giving myself more space in this process, acknowledging where I am at. When people walk into your life telling you they love you, but treat you poorly, I question do I truly love myself if I let that happen? There is always give and take in relationship...s but knowing where my boundaries are is crucial to respecting and loving myself. You cannot give from an empty cup that never gets filled. I continue to fill up my own and I’m okay with that. I get to love myself and nurture the other beautiful relationships I have in my life. Using some DoTERRA Patchouli EO to practice and get myself centered. This oil supports me to become present in my physical body. Which as a predominant Vata dosha (air/space quality ~ the mind) can be difficult for me. This oil is perfect to get me into asana practice. Out of the mind, into the body and expressing my self-love by giving my body what it needs.
