With lockdown extended, what better time to do a virtual art exhibition. We are overwhelmed with the response we have already received for this upcoming show. Closing date for submissions will be Friday, February 5, 2021. BUT WAIT THERES MORE, for every submission we receive, your name will be entered into a draw to win some nameless merch!! Calling all artists, creatives, writers, musicians and anyone who makes anything. Have you been creating work throughout the pandemic? We want it!! Nameless Collective is excited to announce its very first virtual exhibition. With COVID-19 still inhibiting our ability to gather in groups and attend live events, we wanted to find a way to bring our amazing art community together and create something awesome. The show itself will go live Friday, February 19, 2021. Here’s how i...t will work. If you click the link in our bio it will take you to a submission page where you will be presented with 3 options. Option 1: for $25.00 you can submit one piece of your work that will be entered into the virtual exhibition. Option 2: for $50.00 you can submit up to 3 works to be entered into the exhibition as well, you will receive an opportunity at an artist interview that will be apart of the exhibition. Option 3: for $75.00 you can submit up to 5 works to be entered into the exhibition as well, receive an opportunity at an artist interview as part of the show AND the chance to be entered to win an artist feature that will be up on the Nameless website and social media for the month of April. We are so excited to share this project with you to start off the year!! Hello all and happy Monday to you. As I mentioned in a previous post Nameless Collective is in the works of opening a gift shop, just in time for all your Christmas needs. We have some really amazing local artists and creators just waiting to show off their work to you. Our grand opening will be Saturday November 20, 2020 starting at 11am and running until 5 pm. The grand opening will be run by appointment only due to Covid-19. The appointments will run as half hour time slo...ts, so if you are interested in booking a time slot to come shop please send an email to [email protected] and let me know what time you would like to come visit. We can take up to 6 people per time slot so if you have a group of friends you love to shop with, bring them along for a christmassy group outing. Any other inquiries about the shop can be answered through an email to [email protected] or drop a DM to my inbox. Looking forward to sharing all the amazing handcrafted works we have in store for you.

We are getting ready for Christmas time here at Nameless Collective. In honour of the season we are doing an auction in support of our growing education program for the arts. Give Back is a gift basket auction, which means all of the items will come in a variety of differently themed bakskets. We are working hard to collect as many really cool products for you to enjoy. Sarah Martin. Mixed media artist. Thunder Bay, ON @artbysarahashleym ... Sarah Martin uses the term controlled chaos when describing her abstract artwork, otherwise known as acrylic pouring. The colour choice, movement, composition and size all depict how she is feeling at the time, or who she is creating it for. Martin lays her canvas of choice flat and encourages her creative process through music and this sparks new feelings and ideas.

Recollection an abstract mixed media exhibition brought to you by @rebeccaroseart, a multimedia artist from Kenora, Ontario.
