Dear NBDS members and dancers, In response to the BC’s health minister and medical health officer regarding COVID-19, the following measures are now in effect: Spring Fling on March 21 is cancelled. ... All NBDS dances until end of May 2020 will be cancelled. We thank you for your patience and understanding, as well as your continued support of NBDS.

Island Fantasy Ball 2020 Notice The health and safety of everyone including our patrons, sponsors, competitors, officials and volunteers are our top priority. I...n response to B.C. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry’s direction to ban events larger than 250 people, we regret to inform you that IFB 2020 scheduled to take place on May 2 and 3 will be cancelled. This is not an isolated issue in BC aloneit is part of a worldwide crisis due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Much time, energy, and resources went into preparing for our event. This is an unprecedented situation for IFB and has had unique financial repercussions for us. As a non-profit organization, we rely on ticket sales to support this exceptional event. We will be in touch with those who bought presale tickets regarding refunds. The good news is that we intend to host IFB again in May 2021 as this is our annual event since 1993. We value our patrons immensely and thank you for your continued support. We wish you a happy and healthy year ahead and hope to welcome you to our event next year.
