All of a sudden the seasons have changed and now I'm thinking of fall, so thought I would share the cornerstones of my 'fall decor' with you. This may be the first quilt I ever made, many years ago, a little worse for wear but I love it and feel happy every time I see it. The pumpkin, also put together years ago while my kids were young, takes centre stage every year and is known as The Cuteness. I hope some of you have some fall sewing projects to share as well.....

Tips from Cindy....

Just completed, Ombré Table Runner This is my own design, hand guided Free Motion Quilting on a domestic machine (no stitch regulator) with a touch of Walking... Foot Quilting (straight lines). FMQ is primarily my own designs with some traditional stippling, pebbles and raindrops. There is no piecing in this runner. I used Moda Ombré Nantucket on the front, Moda Grunge for the back and binding with two layers of bamboo batting. The thread is Robison-Anton Rayon Thread in both the top and bobbin.
