Holiday hours for Iron Oxide Nanaimo

Nanaimo Arts Council 17.11.2020

The youth in Art Lab at Nanaimo Art Gallery are making a magazine and we want to feature your artwork and writing! We’re looking for drawings, photographs, poem...s, paintings, reviews, short stories, videos, sculptures, performances, lyrics, digital art, and more. This magazine is an ongoing project: our first issue will be released to the public in December and new issues will be created next year. This is an opportunity for young creatives between the ages 11-25 to share their artwork with our community. Previous teen program participants (Code and Dazzle Camouflage) are strongly encouraged to send in work. The theme is the gallery’s year-long inquiry question: What moves? There are many ways to think about this question. For example: How do you move? What moves your heart? How do animals move? How do objects change when moved? What moves in the world? Send your name, age, and artwork to [email protected] by Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Send files as JPG, PDF, DOCX, or MPEG. Got questions? Ask in the comments or direct message for more info!
