We want to thank VMACAir for their generous sponsorship of our November Saturday Morning Science program! "VMAC presents Saturday Morning Science" is providing support for 10 children to take part in this program. Registration for this program will cost families $40 for 4 weeks of sessions (that works out to $10 per session!) thanks to the subsidies provided by VMAC. Children will be working on LEGO robotics during this series and build on their project from week to week. S...essions will run from 10:00 AM until Noon on Saturdays starting November 7th. Our first batch of digital microscopes arrived today! Thanks to a generous grant from Mid Island Co-op, our students will be able to get an extremely close look at specimens out in the field (they're battery powered!) These screen-based microscopes will also help us preserve physical distancing while teaching, and all surfaces can be sanitized.
