It is 4 am and I am still not adjusted to the time change but I am safe and sound and thankful for all that God had taught me. If you had told me 2 short months ago that I would meet so many amazing new people, see so many new things and experience so much personal growth, I would have not have understood it...I am blessed. I think that it will take a lifetime to understand everything that I was given. On any journey there are mountains and valleys....and I was blessed to ...experience a multitude of mountains tops. I am blessed to be part of something greater than anyone of us....certainly bigger than me. I have learned to trust God more, trust the process, trust that His timing is infinitely brilliantly planned. I am excited to see what He will continue doing in my life. I do believe that I will go back to Africa and build on my training. What that looks like...I can only wait and see. For the next couple of days, I look forward to spending time with family, completing a visit to my doctor, getting into a steady sleep cycle here now and begin to unpack the experiences that I and my team experienced. I freely admit that I shamelessly missed my babies and my husband and suspect that I will do the same for the people of Africa. The love I am given fuels me. Thank you to everyone who supported me. I love you so much. This journey was our's together. I look forward to sharing pictures, stories and most likely a few tears. God is good...All the time! Blessed,n

Hi all, Here is a quick AFRICA update for you! Can you believe it is only 20 days till Africa!?! (insert clapping and cheering here). I am so excited to be off and running. Everything is falling into place and things are speeding to the start line :) HIS timing is perfect!! This weekend was busy with a great turn out to our booth at Mission's Fest Edmonton, singing in the cafe and having the opportunity to share what God has been doing in our journey!... This upcoming few days are full of exciting events including... 1. I am getting my last set of shots on the 2nd! Please pray that there will be no adverse reactions! 2.Thank you to the leadership at SVBC who are giving me the opportunity to speak about this mission trip on Sunday morning during the service at 10:45 am. Please pray that the Lord would give me the right words to share. 3. There is a luncheon at SVBC (51 Woodlands Rd. St. Albert) on Sunday after the service to raise funds to make this trip possible. Thank you to the large team of volunteers who will be setting up the gym, cooking and cleaning up! I will be there and will try to answer any questions that you may have.
