New music from Danny Bell Music out now!! You may recognize Danny as the host of Open Mic Night at Nancy O's - while sadly Open Mic Night is on pause, Danny Bell and His Disappointments have been working on a new album, Songs for the Town, out December 11th!! Today they released an animated video by Northern BC artist Silky Hen Design. It was drawn frame-by-frame during an artist residency at the Gavin Lake Forest Education Centre in the Cariboo this past fall. Riverbank was recorded at Pulp City Records in Prince George, BC. The album touches on topics like depression, small-time music industry satire, Danny’s experience immigrating to Canada, social division, and the thoughts and aspirations of two dogs.
