Got these quill babies done 5 whole pairs available! 2 eggplant 2 indigo 1 coral ... (There was supposed to be 2 pairs of coral, but I accidentally damaged those set of quills by heating them up a bit too much ) But... I'm just floored at how vibrant these colors turned out i look forward to doing more cool stuffs with quills, but I also really enjoy creating this design right now. Hey everyone! I realize that we havnt really introduced ourselves, so I may as well introduce you to my mom real quick! Meet Janet, she is Cree from Eeyou Istchee, and has been creating art on and off for the past 25 years! She began taking her artwork more seriously in the past 6 or so years, as it has become her way of healing ... Janet is the one who's in charge of our clothing collection, she's the one that creates the artwork for our clothing (and other miscellaneous items). Her favorite way to share her artwork with the world is on clothing or every-day items that people frequently use. She currently works in the education sector, and works with Indigenous youths to keep them engaged within the school system. She works her corporate job by day, and creates her artworks on weekends and in her free time. Janet is a vibrant personality with nothing but compassion, enthusiasm and good intentions, no doubt her way of parenting turned me into the woman I am today. She is my favorite person on the planet, and without her, there really would be no Napash Arts. anyways... thanks for listening to me get all emotional about my mom!
