Nash got a surprise, and unexpected expansion this morning!
He had a long day already, but had to see all the ladies first before he had his bath. Some of them were very excited to see him!
Nash was pretty lucky to have customers coming all the way from Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge and Coaldale. Pretty special visit from great grandma, great aunt and uncle, and cousins. Leslie Mae Urban Charlene Trapp Chris Classens Lance Trapp Megan Erin Cayley Murray and Doreen
Nash is running low on cartons for his business. Sales are good I guess! If you have any empty ones, and you don’t mind saving them for Nash, he’s willing to make you a good deal with your next order. Even if you don’t buy eggs of Nash, but are willing to save them for him, he would greatly appreciate that. He will pick them up if needed, and reward you with his million dollar smile!!
This just in >>>>>>> Brown eggs are the exact same nutritionally as white! Yes, that's right. Each egg, no matter the color has the exact same nutrit...ional benefits. This changes when you start buying omega-3 and vitamin enhanced, but your standard white and brown are the EXACT same. Find out more info here > > > https://eggs.ab.ca/break-the-rules/
Nash ran out of business cards! So he got a whole box full of new ones. Don’t forget to ask him for one with your next order.
Nash made his first business deal, and it didn’t break the bank for him: He was badly due for cooling capacity so he wouldn’t overload his moms fridge anymore. Thanks to Debbie Holstine for supporting Nash’s Crazy Cluckers by swapping your old fridge for eggs!
Ladies are calling it good for today. Tomorrow is another busy day!
It’s a nice day today, so most of Nash’s crew is busy outside looking for treasures. Also a good opportunity to clean out the barn, and put fresh shavings down for the cold weather coming up, without scaring the ladies to much. Some come in the have a peak at what’s going on, some want to inspect the quality of his work, and some just don’t want to come out of the comfort of their laying nests! At least it’s all ready for when the cold comes back!
On a nice day, the chickens like to come outside, so we open their door.
Had a busy morning cleaning today!
Time to go to sleep! We like sitting on the roost, or in our nesting box at night inside the barn, where it’s nice and warm this time of the year.
My chickens love their friends in the barn, and eating the leftovers from my moms kitchen.
