A year has gone by already! And what a year it’s been! So many bad and good things... I feel like 2020 was the most bipolar year of my life, when it was good it was GOOD and when it was bad I mean it was Bad!! I have definitely lost and gain weight, got very healthy and unhealthy, lost a ton of hair but gain many whites, became a better cook, but never made bread. For the first time though I didn’t work myself silly and took a true vacation... so it balances itself out right?... I wish you the most positive 2021, let’s make this year one to remember, continue to be kind, patient and respectful to others, you might not think the same, but it’s not a reason to be rude with your neighbour. Be more social, use your phones less, call instead of text, don’t make your work and private life a blur, have true boundaries. Stay healthy and get your hair and makeup done more often! When I think of it all at the end I’m just really grateful to have a roof over my head and a husband who not only supports me no matter what, but who is always looking to make me happy. This one brought tears to my eyes Natasha A wrote: Natacha was my makeup and hair stylist for my wedding this past September, and there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful of a human she is! Not only did we have to change our date and she was super accommodating, but she dealt with all my crazy Instagram messages trying to decide what would look best with my dress.... As we eloped, we couldn't do a trial beforehand so I was super nervous going in but she made sure to make me comfortable, and her talent shined right through. She is an incredible artist, came early to make sure she could get what I wanted done and knocked it so far out of the park I couldn't have dreamed of something more. Both my hair and makeup even survived the crazy rain we had all day! I would give her 100/5 stars if I could, she is beautiful inside and out and incredibly talented. We all know that taking the time for ourselves is important, we all know that it will make us feel better, look better and be better! So why do we fight it so much? During the first lockdown my friend @majaerial helped me, guided me and inspired me with a simple 30-45 min workout and even though the beginning was hard and that I was the most unmotivated person ever, it really did make a huge difference, after 6 weeks, I didn’t lose pounds, but I definitely looked better, felt... better and had more confidence, It improved my endurance in sports, made me get through my day with less neck pain... it was great! My thought was that I would never go back to where I was at before starting and pouf, life happened, busy schedule happened and the workout was out of the window. I always struggle to add it to my schedule and make it a priority... and again, I still don’t know why. What is your trick to stay motivated? This is probably the most sensual photo of myself I have ever seen and shared! But I just think it looks so good and after watching @schittscreek and hearing Moira say put as many photos of yourself on the internet as you can while you are beautiful ... or something like that .. I thought why not. A little confidence boost never hurt anyone ahah! When ever you try to do something that you know is going to be good for you, trust your gut and not the people who try to discourage you from growing. They probably just fear to grow or change themselves and it’s just their own insecurities who are talking. I use to work for a luxurious cosmetic company, when I had just moved to BC, so I was poor ( if you moved from another province you know what I mean)I was always embarrassed to tell the customers how much a cream or ser...um cost, thinking I couldn’t afford it myself. One day the sell rep told me, Natacha, you need to stop thinking that the client is paying with your money, you are not in charge of their budget, so keep on pulling the products out of the drawer until they tell you that’s all they want, you cannot be the judge of that. They will make the decision themselves when they can see all their options laying in front of them. You are there to guide them through the brand recommend the products you know would be best for them, lay it out and let them choose what they want. it changed everything for me, I never felt pushy, I was just guiding my client.
