#BigArtTO is in Etobicoke -Lakeshore this weekend! Visual artist Akshata Naik will be projecting her art piece 'Song of the water' on a building in Amos Waites... Park in Lakeshore as part of #showloveto initiative. "'Song of the water' is a video piece created in VR (Virtual reality) using Oculus Quest. The inspiration behind this work is the time spent by the lake in Toronto reminiscing the memories of where I come from, and the existing experience of making this place my home. As a newcomer, the current pandemic situation has led me to evolve my work and pivot digitally during times of social distancing.
